Neuschwanstein，一个很长的德文单词，它由三个词合并而来，neu新的，Schwan天鹅，和Stein石头，中文就叫新天鹅堡或者译成新鹅石堡。如果谁看到过有关这个城堡的风景画，一定会被其梦境般的景色所倾倒，它是名副其实的童话城堡。在我很小的时候就听说过它，印象中她就犹如梦境一般令人神往，有幸的是这个梦在3月26日这天成为了现实。我终于有机会和我的朋友一块前往新天鹅堡。一行三人，除我之外还有墨西哥的霍勒克和来自立陶宛的克里斯蒂娜。

想知道有关这个城堡的故事吗？那得先从巴伐利亚国王路德维希二世说起。1866年，势力不断膨胀的诸侯国普鲁士在所谓的日耳曼人的战争中击败了奥地利和巴伐利亚的联盟，进而统一了分裂达一千年之久的德意志帝国。做为巴伐利亚的国王，路德维希二世当然就因为战败丧失了权利，可是他却不愿面对现实。为了继续显示他国王的权威，于1869年开始建立这个庞大的工程：新天鹅堡，而且其所处位置必须是所能找到的最美丽的地方。但是路德维希二世国王只在那里居住了120天便在位于附近的湖中自尽，据说死因是因为他不愿接受现实而发了疯。然而今天做为他的杰作之一的梦幻世界：新天鹅堡，却成为了全欧洲最吸引人的城堡宫殿。

Neuschwanstein, a long German word, if I divide it into three parts: “new swan stone”, it could be understood easier. The name is complex and hard to remember, but the castle is extremely beautiful as if it would exist only in the fairy tale. Since I was a child, I have heard about it. It’s like a dream, which became true on March 26^th, 2005. Finally, I had the chance to visit there, with my friends: Jorge from Mexico and Cristina from Lithuania.

If you want to know some stories about the castle, let’s start with the king of Bavaria Ludwig II. In 1866, the expanding state of Prussia conquered Austria and Bavaria in the “German War”. As the king of Bavaria, Ludwig II lost his power, but he didn’t want to face the facts. In order to show that he was still a king, he decided to build a grand castle whose location should be one of the most beautiful to be found. So the Newschwanstein castle started to be built from 1869, but the king Ludwig II only lived there for 120 days and died in a lake near the castle afterwards, it is said that he was insane since he cannot return to the reality. Today the fantasy world─Neuschwanstein is one of the most popular of all the palaces and castles in Europe.

距离富森只剩2公里了！那两人居然坚持徒步从新天鹅堡走到富森，两地相距5公里。
There are only 2km left to Füssen! Although I was very tired, but the other two guys insisted on
walking to Füssen(5km away from Neuschwanstein to Füssen). Crazy!
